Omar Suleiman, hombre clave en la estructura política del derrocado presidente egipcio Hosni Mubarak ha fallecido en una clínica de Estados Unidos donde se llevaba a cabo exámenes médicos.
A los 76 años este ex jefe de la Inteligencia egipcia ha fallecido de manera repentina y ya se llevan a cabo las gestiones para repatriar su cuerpo hacia Egipto.
La notoriedad se Suleiman se llevo acabo durante la caída del Régimen cuando por unos días fue nombrado Vicepresidente ante la ausencia de Mubarak.
Antes de llegar a este cargo Suleiman dirigió los Servicios Generales de Inteligencia desde el año 1993, también fue clave en las relaciones internacionales de Egipto con Palestina y Estados Unidos.
