Un grupo especial de Cuerpo Técnico de Investgación ( CTI ) se hará cargo de la investigación sobre el atentado perpetrado a Ricardo Calderón, periodista de la Revista Semana.
Cuando se movilizaba en su carro el día de ayer 01 de mayo sobre las 19 : 00 horas entre el trayecto Ibagué - Bogotá, el vehículo fue impactado 5 veces con una arma de fuego.
El periodista no sufrió ningún daño y se especula que fue un atentando directo contra él.
El Ministro del Interior de Colombia, Fernando Carrillo se ha expresado vía twitter escribiendo lo siguiente:
"Lamentamos mucho el atentado contra el periodista Ricardo Calderón. Atentar contra la libertad de expresión es un acto máximo de cobardía"
A partir de ahora la Unidad Nacional de Protección se hará cargo de la seguridad del periodista mientras el CTI recopila datos que ayuden a resolver este caso.
Igualmente se conoce que hace meses atrás se le había ofrecido a Ricardo Calderón un esquema de seguridad, el cual fue rechazado por el mismo al considerar que no había peligro contra su integridad.
Actualmente se han denunciado el asesinato de 39 periodistas en lo que va del año 2013.
